HQ Explorers DIY Jigsaw

Make a Jigsaw Puzzle

You will need the following supplies:

  • a picture 🖼 (we have included two we like 😍),

  • a jigsaw template,

  • Glue 🖌,

  • Cardboard (instead of cardboard, you can also use a cereal box),

  • and scissors ✄.

Ask for help when cutting the jigsaw template if you need it, we don’t want any blood on the jigsaw 😬😬

  1. Choose your image and print it 🖨.

  2. Print 🖨 the jigsaw template.

  3. Trim ✄ the cardboard to fit the template.

  4. Apply the glue 🖌to the entire cardboard and place the jigsaw template to stick on.

  5. Place the image of the portrait on the other side of the cardboard and glue 🖌 it in on.

  6. Carefully, cut out ✄ the pieces of the puzzle.

  7. Mix up the pieces.

  8. Put the puzzle together.

  9. Look up this person or creature and see if you can find out their relationship to the Museum.

🙏 take a picture and share it on Instagram with #HQExplorers #Pastport and tag us @Carnegiebirthplace so we can enjoy your finished work. 💪
