Creative Textile Workshop: Travels with the RSA Carnegie Scholars
Will you find inspiration in the archways painted by George Stephen Ziffo or the vibrant gardens captured by William Drummond Bone? This series of workshops are an opportunity to experiment with fabric, paint and stitch (or whatever takes your fancy!) to create your own original artwork inspired by the colours, textures and themes on display in the RSA200 exhibition ‘Carnegie & The Royal Scottish Academy’.
No prior experience of embroidery is required, these workshops are an opportunity to relax, create and enjoy art in a supportive and welcoming space
All About Julie Gibb
I am a self-taught mixed media artist, working with fabric, paper and photographs. I use recycled materials to create artwork that reflects my love for my local environment and my interest in family history. I love to share my passion for textiles and embroidery by running workshops for people to explore their creativity through making.
