The Carnegie Dunfermline and Hero Fund Trusts are currently looking for new Trustees to join our existing Board of committed Trustees.
Andrew Carnegie rose from humble beginnings in Dunfermline to become one of the world’s richest men and then, when he gave his fortune away, he became the father of modern philanthropy.
He never forgot his home town and for over 100 years the Carnegie Dunfermline Trust has been working to fulfil his wish of adding sweetness and light to the lives of the people of Dunfermline. The Hero Fund has a different purpose - to recognise acts of civilian heroism throughout the UK and Ireland.
We are keen to hear from a diverse range of applicants from all ages and backgrounds so if you are passionate about Dunfermline and its people, then you could be our next Trustee!
