EXHIBITION: 'FABRIC OF LIFE'
Twenties

'Fabric of Life'

The Borders, the Lothians and Fife all once had thriving textile industries – from the knitwear and tweeds of the Borders and East Lothian to the fine linen damasks made in Dunfermline. This touring exhibition by the East of Scotland Museums Partnership (ESMP) uses objects and photographs to look at tradition, change and survival in those industries.
